We are a relatively new installment in Muskies Inc. and are actively seeking new members. As a group we meet at least once a month whether its a general meeting or out on the water.

General Meetings

They are held September through April and are on the first Monday of each month, at the HHC Sales Office in Omaha, located at 8944 H Street. Our meetings are open to the public and we invite you to join us. This is a great way to meet others, learn and share experiences with other like-minded folks who are passionate about fishing for muskie.  Our meetings are fairly informal, and often feature guests including local, professional, and "industry pro's".  Bring the wife & kids, everyone is welcome. We're a big, happy muskie fishing family!

At the end of some meetings we may have a raffle drawing for items such as lures, maps, videos, rod/reel combos, nets, etc. It's a good time.  Please join us!  You'll be glad you did.

Contests

In order to encourage the use of Muskies Inc.'s Lunge Log, the Huskerland Muskie Hunters have decided to sponsor a 2010 Musky Fishing Contest. In order to be eligible the contestant must be a member of MI Ch.53 at the time the fish is caught and during the Prize Ceremony in February of 2011,  the musky must be caught during an open season and be  released, and the Musky must be at least 30" in length with a photo preferably.  There will be 1 division, the Open Division, since our club is still small with only a few members it is not necessary to have multiple sub-divisions. All muskies must be entered into the Lunge Log to qualify, as prizes will be awarded to the top 3 contestants according to Muskies Inc.'s point system. The 2010 Nebraska  musky fishing season is already open so feel free to head out there and start catching some muskies! If you have any questions on how to enter a fish into the Lunge Log please contact the Chapter's Contest Release Chair, Eric Tesarek.
